How to become an authorized distributor?

To initiate the process of becoming an authorized distributor, please reach out to our representative at mikev@mpi-matco.com. He will be happy to connect with you and assess whether you meet the requirements for becoming a distributor.

What is the cure time?

Skin formation within 10 minutes. Cure rate: 5 mm per 24 hours

Does the environment / weather affect BM performance? (during Installation)

No, not at all. The only thing that could be affected is the curing time, which may be slowed down at lower temperatures and lower relative humidity

Does the company that makes Black Mamba cover warranties?

We warrant the product not the application.

Will Black Mamba work without clips?

When used as directed, clips aren't required

Do you need a special caulking gun?

You can use standard caulking guns, however, for best performance we recommend using the Black Mamba gun. It provides a 35:1 thrust ratio.

What is the best method to get full compression when using Black Mamba?

To achieve full compression when using Black Mamba, we recommend using clamps or a sink setter to apply even pressure to the sink for a short period of time. This will ensure a tight and secure fit and create the necessary suction to hold the sink firmly in place.

Is it only used for thin/light sinks?

No, Black Mamba works for all types of sinks. To ensure proper adhesion, make sure the amount of product you apply is proportional to the weight that it will hold

What is the proper best solvent for clean up of Black Mamba?

The recommended solvents for cleaning up Black Mamba adhesive are acetone or denatured alcohol.

What is the strength of Black Mamba?

Over 360 psi.

What is the heat rating?

Temperature rating goes from -40°F to 2°F (-40°C to 140°C)
